Spring leads to Summer

With spring in the air and the sun coming out to play I have been feeling so much happier lately. Summer always feels like a new beginning, like a time when exciting things are meant to happen, a time for magic. There's just something about warm summer evenings and hot days with clear skies that adds a level of giddiness to the air, at least for me. There's still a couple months left of my time in London but I'm really looking forward to summer. Summer and home, in my case anyway, are sort of synonymous. I know I won't be free, I will have dissertation to work on, but still, I can just tell it's going to be a wonderful time.
